Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a key priority for the hospital's development.

It excels in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of common and frequently occurring gynecological and obstetric conditions. Simultaneously, the department actively embraces innovation, aligning itself with the highest domestic and international standards in clinical practice and management. It stands as a distinctive department with strong developmental momentum, seamlessly integrating specialized medical care, medical education, and clinical research.
The department currently comprises a professional team of 30 medical and nursing staff members, including 4 Chief Physicians, 1 Associate Chief Physician, 3 Attending Physicians, 2 Physicians, and numerous Supervisory Nurses and Midwives, forming a well-structured and balanced professional hierarchy.
The department's two academic leaders - Vice President Mo Zhongfu and Department Director Yan Ping - are renowned experts in obstetrics and gynecology hailing from top-tier (Grade 3A) provincial and municipal hospitals. With nearly 40 years of specialized clinical experience between them, they exert significant influence within the field.

Gynecology

The department's Gynecology division specializes in pelvic floor surgery and various minimally invasive gynecological procedures. These include, for instance, tension-free mid-urethral slings (TVT/TOT), laparoscopic uterine ligament suspension, and vaginal obliteration.

The division actively promotes the ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) philosophy to effectively address female pelvic floor dysfunction disorders and enhance patients' quality of life, thereby fully embodying a patient-centered clinical philosophy that prioritizes the sanctity of life above all else.

Obstetrics

Drawing upon a comprehensive, "full-chain" philosophy of maternity care, the department focuses on providing holistic care and guidance to women - spanning from pre-conception planning, through pregnancy and delivery, to the 42-day postpartum recovery period. We prioritize nutritional guidance and weight management during pregnancy, alongside rigorous, scientifically-grounded prenatal monitoring. We actively work to prevent and treat various pregnancy-related complications and comorbidities, while actively encouraging and facilitating natural childbirth. Expectant mothers have the freedom to choose options such as painless delivery (epidural analgesia) or labor support from a doula, ensuring a warm, comfortable, and reassuring environment throughout their hospital stay, from the onset of labor through delivery. Our maternity wards are designed to be warm and welcoming, featuring "family-style" delivery rooms that allow mothers to give birth in a familiar, home-like setting - surrounded by their loved ones and safeguarded by our dedicated medical and nursing staff - while adopting the birthing positions they find most comfortable. We place great emphasis on promoting natural childbirth while ensuring the highest standards of medical safety. Furthermore, we prioritize the psychological well-being of expectant and new mothers, actively working to prevent and treat postpartum depression, and offering comprehensive postpartum rehabilitation services to provide continuous, dynamic, and highly personalized care.
