Our History & Affiliation
The predecessor of Shijiazhuang Medical College can be traced back to three medical colleges established in 1987 (Hebei Jilian Medical Training College), 1988 (Shijiazhuang Bethune Medical Training College) and 1994 (Hebei Xinhua Medical Training College). In March 2003, the three colleges merged to form Shijiazhuang Medical College. In 2016, the college was included in Hebei Province's "13th Five-Year Plan" for higher education institution development. In 2022, Hebei Provincial Health Commission publicly announced the establishment of Affiliated Hospital of Shijiazhuang Medical College, which was officially opened on March 28, 2024.

Affiliated Hospital of Shijiazhuang Medical College is a non-profit tertiary general hospital approved by Hebei Provincial Health Commission, affiliated to Shijiazhuang Medical College. Located at No.203 North Tiyu Street, Chang'an District of Shijiazhuang City, the hospital covers a construction area of 100,000 square meters with a total investment of 800 million RMB. It has 600 authorized hospital beds (expandable to 1,000) and a team of 840 professional and technical personnel, including 252 staff with deputy senior titles or above, more than 30 master and doctoral supervisors, and over 20 well-known experts at home and abroad.

The Zeiss ARTEVO 800 Ophthalmic Navigation Surgical Microscope integrates an intraoperative OCT and a digital navigation system, and is widely applicable to cataract surgery, ICL implantation, glaucoma surgery and fundus surgery. Its real-time image guidance function can greatly improve the accuracy of lens implantation (especially toric intraocular lenses), helping patients achieve superior postoperative visual quality.
